Anyway i tried the dish soap with bicarb and it worked a dream! I did a rinse with apple cider vinegar and that helped too! Now i can run my fingers through it and there is no build up! This is my go to shampoo from now on and i only do it 2 x week so hopefully won't damage my hair. Not sure what the residue was but it's gone!
